Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and organized Parts Manager to oversee the parts department within our equipment dealership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dealership operations, equipment repair, and customer service. This role involves managing inventory, assisting customers, and supporting sales efforts to ensure smooth and efficient parts department operations. The Parts Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth through effective parts sales and upselling strategies. Duties Manage daily operations of the parts department, including inventory control and ordering Assist customers with parts inquiries, providing expert advice based on mechanical knowledge Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and billing Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and sales data Coordinate with service technicians and mechanics to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs Upsell additional products or services to maximize departmental revenue Implement best practices for stock management, including stocking levels and reordering schedules Train and supervise staff within the department to uphold quality standards and customer service excellence Ensure compliance with dealership policies and safety regulations Requirements Dealership experience preferred, with a solid understanding of equipment parts operations Mechanic experience or mechanical knowledge is highly advantageous Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Experience in sales, including upselling techniques to increase departmental revenue Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and courtesy Prior experience in automotive repair or related fields is a plus This position offers an opportunity to be a key contributor within our dealership, supporting both customer satisfaction and business growth through expert parts management.
