This role requires strong backend expertise with Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka , along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Contribute to large-scale digital sales application initiatives . Build and support event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Support continuous improvement of development practices and system reliability. Required Skills (Must-Have) 7+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot (backend development). 3+ years of current or recent experience with Kafka . Strong understanding of enterprise application development . Soft Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Team lead or mentorship experience is considered an asset . Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have) Experience developing applications on Azure public cloud . Angular front-end development experience.
