A Multicultural, Pentecostal Church in Hamilton, is seeking a passionate Media and Production team player to join our amazing and dedicated team. This role is central to enhancing our worship services, online presence, and various outreach through excellence in technical arts. Position Overview: This is a salary-based role responsible for the overall vision, execution, and technical quality of all Church media and production. You will ensure that every service and event is supported by seamless audio, graphics, and visual distraction-free worship. The role involves both hands-on execution and the overseeing the success of all services and events. Key Responsibilities & Impact: Your work will directly support our Sunday and Thursday services, as well as special events. Primary Areas of Responsibility: Sunday & Event Production: Direct all technical aspects (audio, video, lighting, live streaming) for worship services and Church events. Ensure all systems are operational and all roles positions are filled. Content Creation & Design: Develop engaging video content, dynamic graphics, and digital media to support sermon series, Church announcements, and online platforms. Systems & Equipment Management: Maintain, troubleshoot, and responsibly manage all AVL equipment, software, and inventory. Research and recommend strategic technology upgrades. Other duties as assigned. A Typical Week Includes: Pre-Service: Finalizing service elements, leading technical rehearsals, and performing comprehensive system checks. During Service: Directing live production, managing audio mix, switching cameras, and ensuring a high-quality live stream. Post-Service: Debriefing, archiving content, and addressing equipment needs. Mid-Week: Editing video, creating graphics, planning for future series, and maintaining equipment. Essential Qualifications: A devoted and growing personal faith in Jesus Christ, in agreement with Pentecostal beliefs and the mission of Victory International Church. Proven experience in live production, including proficiency with: Live audio mixing (digital consoles preferred). Video switching, recording, and editing software. Lighting control for worship environments. Graphic design software. Strong leadership and communication skills, with a heart to serve. Ability to troubleshoot and perform well under pressure in a live environment. A post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in a related field.
