Cresteramics is a community-based organization that supports adults with diverse intellectual abilities throughout the Creston Valley. We operate more than 20 programs which focus on lifelong learning, community inclusion, recreation, and employment. We are currently seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team in a casual capacity, with the potential for additional hours and longer-term opportunities. Position Details Position Type: Casual Relief coverage Schedule: Monday to Friday Start Date: ASAP Wage: As per union contract - $25.95/hr Worksites: o 921 Railway Blvd, Creston B.C., o 1022 Canyon St., Creston, B.C., o and/or various community locations Key Responsibilities Casual Support Worker Provide one-to-one support for individuals with developmental disabilities Arrange and participate in group activities Assist with community integration and participation in meaningful activities Develop and implement individualized programs Support individuals with life skills and interactions with their peers Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging environment Key Responsibilities Casual Administrative Assistant Provide general administrative support to management and staff, including clerical duties, data entry, filing, and document management. Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, including the preparation, formatting, and maintenance of documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Maintain and update spreadsheets and basic databases with accuracy and attention to detail. Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including answering phones, responding to emails, and directing inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Schedule meetings and appointments as required, including coordination of calendars and preparation of supporting materials. Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee, client, and organizational information in accordance with organizational policies and privacy legislation. Assist with the preparation, distribution, and tracking of correspondence, reports, and other administrative materials. Support office operations by ensuring records are organized, supplies are maintained, and administrative processes run efficiently. Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal staff, external partners, and the public. Perform other related administrative duties as assigned to support organizational needs. Qualifications Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (asset) Knowledge or experience with dementia/Alzheimer''s (asset) Ability to design and deliver individualized programs/activities and implementing person-centered supports Valid B.C. driver''s license with clean abstract and proof of insurance Current First Aid/CPR certification (reimbursed by employer) Successful completion of a criminal record check (reimbursed by employer) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Additional Information Training will be arranged by the Executive Director and provided by the Golden staff member(s) This position requires union membership How to Apply Please apply in writing to: Executive Director Quote Posting #: 202602 Application Deadline: January 23, 2026 Job Type: Casual Pay: From $25.95 per hour Work Location: In person
