Position: Marketing Manager (Digital Focus) Company: The Stationed Traveller Creative & Growth Agency Location: Banff, Canmore, or Calgary (Hybrid / Remote) Employment Type: Full-Time Contract Salary Range: $50,000$70,000 annually, based on experience About the Role The Stationed Traveller Creative & Growth Agency is seeking a Marketing Manager with a strong digital marketing foundation to lead and execute performance-driven marketing initiatives across multiple client accounts. This role sits within a small, highly collaborative agency team, where clear communication, ownership, and mutual accountability are essential. You will work closely with leadership, designers, developers, and clients, often managing initiatives end-to-end. As such, this position is well-suited to a self-starter who is comfortable setting priorities, managing timelines, and proactively moving work forward without heavy oversight. The role is primarily focused on paid media strategy, analytics, and campaign execution, with working knowledge of web and graphic design to ensure marketing efforts are cohesive, measurable, and effective. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how digital marketing, websites, creative, and content work together to drive results. Key Responsibilities Digital Marketing & Performance Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads Own campaign performance with a focus on ROI, CTR, CPA, and conversions Build, maintain, and evolve performance dashboards using Looker Studio and DashThis Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports with clear insights, next steps, and recommendations Set up and manage conversion tracking through Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Meta pixels Support and execute email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo Implement and manage UTM tracking, conversion goals, and attribution frameworks Proactively identify opportunities to improve funnel performance, efficiency, and campaign outcomes Web & Technical Support Collaborate closely with developers and designers on WordPress and Shopify websites Ensure landing pages are optimized for conversion, performance, and accurate tracking Execute basic web updates, SEO implementation, and analytics configuration Troubleshoot tracking issues, form submissions, integrations, and campaign-related technical challenges Creative & Brand Collaboration Work directly with designers to ensure creative aligns with brand guidelines, performance goals, and campaign strategy Provide clear, constructive feedback on layouts, messaging, and usability from a performance and conversion perspective Support light copywriting for ads, emails, landing pages, and website updates Organize, document, and maintain marketing assets across internal systems for efficiency and clarity Collaboration, Communication & Project Management Operate as a key contributor within a tight-knit, collaborative team, sharing insights and supporting collective success Communicate clearly and confidently with internal stakeholders and clients, translating data into meaningful recommendations Manage multiple campaigns, clients, and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment Demonstrate strong project management and time efficiency, consistently meeting deadlines and managing workloads independently Take ownership of initiatives from planning through execution, optimization, and reporting Required Experience & Skills 3+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong digital and performance focus Proven experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio Working knowledge of WordPress and Shopify Strong understanding of conversion-focused website and landing page best practices Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting insights and recommendations Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently within a collaborative team structure Favourable Assets Graphic design experience using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Canva SEO knowledge, including technical audits and on-page optimization Experience in tourism, hospitality, or e-commerce marketing Experience managing multiple client accounts within an agency environment What Success Looks Like Campaigns are well structured, conversions are accurately tracked, and continuously optimized. Reporting is clear, actionable, and delivered on time. Websites and landing pages effectively support marketing objectives. Communication is proactive and transparent. Creative, web, and marketing efforts are aligned. You are trusted by both internal teams and clients to manage priorities efficiently, execute independently, and contribute meaningfully to overall agency growth.
