Project Coordinator We are looking for a Project Coordinatorwho thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and is passionate about driving continuous improvement. In this role, you will be a key partner to our General Manager and leadership team, leading Lean initiatives, optimizing production processes, and enhancing operational performance across our facility. The ideal candidate is analytical, team-oriented, and dedicated to improving production performance through smart, data-backed decisions. If you''re excited about leading improvements that make a real difference, we want to hear from you Key Responsibilities Partner with the General Manager and Management Team to identify, prioritize, and implement continuous improvement initiatives primarily within Production. Conduct lean analyses to determine opportunities for cost reduction, waste elimination, and process optimization. Lead and facilitate production improvement projects (A3, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, etc.) and ensure measurable outcomes. Support the development of productivity metrics, scorecards, and performance dashboards for monthly and annual review. Leverage data, time studies, and statistical tools to validate opportunities and track progress. Support deployment of Lean and Six Sigma principles across departments, elevating employee capability through coaching and practical application. Incorporate benchmarking and best practices into the CCL Business Plan to ensure innovation and competitiveness. Support production scheduling, capacity planning, and workflow optimization. Supporting the planning and scheduling of work orders based on customer lead times, ship dates, and production capacity. Evaluate and adjust shift schedules to minimize downtime during changeovers. Liaise with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot production bottlenecks and support initiatives. Monitor and report on production performance metrics daily and monthly. Serve as the communication bridge between Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and Senior Management. Provide proactive updates on at-risk orders at least 23 days prior to ship dates. Work with Quality department and management to support quality initiatives inclusive of Non-Conformance discoveries and follow ups. Ensure that change initiatives align with safety, quality, and operational standards. Other duties as assigned. Education/Experience 1-3 years of experience in project management or process improvement within a manufacturing environment (printing or packaging experience preferred). Post secondary education in BA majoring in Operations, Industrial Management, Engineering or related field. Skills Proven track record leading Lean or Six Sigma initiatives (certification an asset). Strong understanding of production planning, capacity analysis, and maintenance coordination. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skillscomfortable leading meetings and engaging diverse teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with ERP or production scheduling systems.
