MUST haves - You must have prior experience as a Change Management Lead on a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain implementation project. Additionally, you must have experience working for the municipal environments, preferably Alberta municipal environments. The role is Hybrid in Edmonton, AB. You must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Contract duration - 1 year Role Overview: The Change Management Consultant will lead all organizational change management activities for the Financial Systems Modernization project. This role is responsible for developing and executing the OCM strategy and roadmap in alignment with project milestones. The consultant will work closely with the Project Manager, Steering Committee, vendors, and internal subject matter experts. The mandate includes stakeholder engagement, communications, training coordination, readiness assessments, and adoption support through go live and post implementation. This role requires strong public sector experience, executive level communication skills, and the ability to operate both strategically and tactically. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive organizational change management strategy and roadmap Conduct change impact assessments and stakeholder readiness evaluations Design and execute adoption and engagement initiatives to drive user buy in Develop and manage internal communications including updates, FAQs, briefings, and leadership messaging Support executive and leadership communications, including town halls and council presentations Coordinate messaging and timing across departments and vendors Collaborate with vendors and SMEs to develop and adapt end user training plans and materials Schedule and promote training sessions and track attendance and feedback Define adoption metrics and report on readiness and adoption throughout the program Support UAT, go live, and hypercare activities with a strong change and adoption focus Present findings, insights, and what we heard summaries to the project team and Steering Committee Requirements: 10 plus years of experience in organizational change management Proven experience leading change for large ERP or financial system implementations Strong knowledge of change management frameworks such as Prosci ADKAR and Kotter Experience working in municipal environments Demonstrated ability to present to senior leadership and elected officials Experience developing and executing communication and training strategies Ability to work primarily remote with availability for onsite support during UAT and go live Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Experience with payroll or HR system implementations Prior experience supporting traditional ERP cutover projects Experience with SharePoint as a communications platform Thank you for your interest.
