Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate and program CNC machines, including CNC lathes and milling machines, to produce precision components. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency in CNC programming, and the ability to interpret complex blueprints. The CNC Machinist will ensure that parts are manufactured to exact specifications using advanced tools and techniques, contributing to the efficiency and quality of our production processes. Duties Operate CNC machinery such as CNC lathes and milling machines, primarily Fanuc controls, ensuring optimal performance. Write, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs utilizing CAD/CAM software like SolidWorks and other CAD tools. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce precise components. Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and quality standards. Set up machines with appropriate tooling and fixtures, including hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment when necessary. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC equipment to minimize downtime. Assist in assembly processes when required, ensuring parts meet manufacturing standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area following lean manufacturing principles. Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed for loading/unloading raw materials or finished products. Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Fanuc controls and CNC programming skills. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in machining operations. Ability to read complex blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with CAD software such as MasterCam and general CAD/CAM systems. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tolerances and measurements. Experience with machining tools including calipers, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklift operation is preferred. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and assembly processes is a plus. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
