Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Line Cook to join our team both for Lunch and Dinner Services. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious sandwiches and making sure you station is set and all prep is correct in the lunch service. For the diner service you will be preparing food for service, cooking a station during service, cleaning and closing the station, as well as writing your prep list for next day. This can also include helping with dishes and other members of the team wqith their prep and service. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that all food safety standards are met and that each sandwich is made to perfection. Duties - Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. - Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food products. - Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages. - Perform basic math calculations for order totals and change during transactions. -Write and execute prep lists and ordering to ensure that the restaurant is always ready to operate. Experience - Previous experience in food preparation and cooking on a line. - Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a safe working environment. - Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately in a fast-paced setting.
