BayWa r.e. is looking for a positive, responsible, detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Marketing Coordinator on a 16 month contract to cover a maternity leave. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work with a high attention to detail in a busy and exciting environment, flexing their creative muscles to tell the story of our company. You will be the voice of our company, and directly impact the look and feel of most of the outward-facing elements of the brand. Key Responsibilities: Creation of an annual plan for BayWa r.e.''s marketing activities in line with the business objectives, as well as the global marketing strategy Implementation and Management of the marketing plan throughout the year, covering these major areas: o Website & E-commerce (updates and management) o Advertising (digital and traditional) o Social Media channels o Email Marketing o Event Marketing (trade fairs, conferences, local events, webinars) o Integrated Campaigns Creation of Marketing Materials/Collateral including print materials and giveaways as needed Coordinating with Vendor Partners to maximize the impact of their brands and co-marketing programs Working closely with the BayWa r.e. Corporate marketing team to ensure our global brand is appropriately represented in the Canadian marketplace Working with Marketing leaders across our global companies to share best practices Management of marketing budget according to the marketing plan Ability to learn the market landscape and think strategically about how best to position our company for success Works and communicates well within a team environment Accomplishes the organization''s goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value Your profile: University degree in business administration or marketing (not required if sufficient experience in marketing is evident) Ideally 3-5 years'' experience in a similar position Business English as a must (French and/or German is a plus) Strong skills in project management Proven track record in B2B marketing Solid knowledge of the Canadian energy/renewable energy market would be an advantage Communication and self-organization skills, a hands-on mentality Attention to detail and a self-starter About the Company BayWa r.e. More about the role The position is full-time-hybrid, based out of Edmonton with the expectation of 2 days a week in office, with some flexibility around specific hours. The provided salary range is flexible dependent on further experience and qualifications.
