As a growing fleet we are looking for multiply individuals to fill a few positions located in Ayr, Ontario.We offer:Competitive hourly wages based on level of experience100% Company paid extended health benefitsAnnual work boot allowanceCompany Overalls with laundry serviceDuties:Maintenance and preventative maintenance of company fleet to ensure efficient operationPerform routine maintenance on vehicles and machineryResponsible for the inspections, diagnosis, and repair on both tractors and trailersDiagnose mechanical issues and propose solutionsFollow and practice workplace health and safety regulations and ensure proper disposal of hazardous wasteMaintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activitiesContribute to maintaining a clean, safe and environmentally sound facilityOther related tasks, as assignedRequirements:Valid 310T license or a valid RedSealProven experience as a MechanicProficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipmentStrong knowledge of mechanical systems and enginesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong knowledge of preventative maintenance applications as well as the transportation industry rules and regulationsHave their own set of toolsCreative and efficient problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to varying situations.Be self-motivated and proactive in taking on any task that may ariseCooperative attitude, team playerJob Types: Full-time, Permanent, Monday -Friday 8 am - 5 pm
