Youre organized, approachable, and eager to learn, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering a positive employee experience.You like being in the action, value collaboration, and are motivated to grow your HR knowledge in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.The RoleFirst 6 Months Learn & SupportSupport the HR department with day-to-day operations and company-wide HR initiativesAct as a first point of contact for employee HR inquiries, escalating complex matters as neededAssist with onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, and file managementMaintain accurate employee records across HR systems and personnel filesLearn MRGs HR policies, programs, and compliance requirements across provincesSupport the coordination of employee resources and access, including devices, systems, and toolsBuild strong working relationships with employees across the organizationOngoing Grow & ContributeSupport the coordination, promotion, and execution of MRG Way training programsPartner with Recruitment to support special programs, including internship programsCoordinate office administration activities as they relate to HR operationsAssist with policy updates and ensure alignment with employment standards, human rights legislation, and health & safety requirementsSupport employee relations matters, with guidance from the HR Manager and senior HR partners as applicableSupport internal HR communications and updatesTrack and report basic HR metricsIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, and employee experienceTake on increased responsibility and ownership as experience and confidence growPartner with HR and Recruitment to identify and execute continuous improvement initiativesWhat Were Looking For13 years of experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or HR Generalist support rolePost-secondary education in Human Resources or a related fieldFoundational understanding of Canadian employment legislationStrong organizational skills and high attention to detailClear, professional communication skills and a service-oriented mindsetAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentInterest in building a long-term career in Human ResourcesBonus if you:CHRP designation completed or in progress is an assetHave experience in hospitality, entertainment, retail, or multi-location environmentsHave used an ATS or HR system (training will be provided)Have used a project management system (training will be provided)Are curious about talent development, HR programs, or people analyticsEnjoy improving processes and bringing structure to busy, dynamic teamsWhats In It For YouParticipation in the MRG Travel Ambassador ProgramA fun, collaborative, and creative team cultureEmployee discounts to MRG concerts, shows, and hospitality venuesCareer growth and learning opportunities with Canadas leading entertainment groupOur CommitmentThe MRG Group is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
