Job Description

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Administrator to manage, support, and optimize Siemens Teamcenter PLM environments. This role is critical to ensuring the stability, performance, security, and effective use of Teamcenter across engineering, manufacturing, and product development teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Administration & MaintenanceInstall, configure, and maintain Teamcenter PLM and related componentsPerform system upgrades, patches, hotfixes, backups, and recovery activitiesMonitor system health and performance; identify and resolve issues and bottlenecksEnsure compliance with infrastructure standards and security controlsUser & Data ManagementCreate and manage user accounts, roles, access permissions, and security settingsProvide technical support and troubleshooting for end usersManage data migration, synchronization, cleansing, and archiving activitiesEnsure data quality, integrity, and consistency across the PLM environmentCustomization & EnhancementsAnalyze business processes and recommend workflow and system improvementsCustomize Teamcenter using BMIDE, including workflows, data models, and UI componentsDesign, test, and deploy new features and enhancementsIntegration & CollaborationIntegrate Teamcenter with enterprise systems such as ERP and CAD tools (e.g., Siemens NX, Solid Edge, SolidWorks)Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, IT, and business teams to improve system utilizationWork with Siemens support for advanced troubleshooting and issue resolutionTraining & DocumentationDevelop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and operating proceduresConduct user training and onboarding sessions to promote best practicesMandatory Skills & QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field35+ years of experience as a Teamcenter Administrator or in a similar PLM administration roleStrong understanding of Teamcenter architecture, data model, and administration toolsHands-on experience with Teamcenter modules, including:Active WorkspaceBOM ManagementWorkflow DesignerChange ManagementDocument ManagementAccess ControlsExperience with CAD integrations such as Siemens NX and Solid EdgeProficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl)Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearlyPreferred / Nice-to-Have QualificationsKnowledge of compliance frameworks related to product data (e.g., ITAR, EAR)Experience working in Windows and Linux environmentsExposure to Teamcenter upgrades and advanced customizationsUnderstanding of authentication and security protocols (Kerberos, SAML, LDAP)Teamcenter or PLM-related certificationsExperience supporting multi-site or distributed environmentsIf you are a hands-on Teamcenter Administrator looking to support enterprise PLM environments in Montreal or Toronto, we encourage you to apply.
