Position Summary A Deli Stocker properly maintains, zones, and stocks assigned area, assists customers and maintains modular and feature presentations, while maintaining exemplary customer service by adhering to Basic Beliefs and values. What you'll do Zoning the department Rotating stock and checking for expired products Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sellby dates, and expiration dates Taking orders for Deli Department merchandise; slicing and preparing merchandise such as meat, cheese, fried chicken; and providing requested assistance Providing assistance to frontend associates with price checks Preparing deli food orders using slicers, stackers, rotisserie oven, deep fryer, and filling prepared salads and side dishes for placement in display area and specialty orders from customers as required Keeping the area N.C.O. and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.30.
