YourOpportunity We are currently seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer in Calgary. You will work with limited supervision and direction as a team member or lead of medium to largeprojects while providing supervision and guidance to other, less experienced engineers and designers. You will lead the evaluation, recommendation, andspecification for engineering principles to select the best plan involving the collaboration with multiple stakeholders and expertise within the company. You will be responsible for verifying compliance with applicable codes, design and construction specifications, and engineering standards/practices. YourKeyResponsibilities Leadappropriateengineeringinputandatechnicaloverviewtodesignactivitiesundertakenbydesign/draftingstaffresidingwithinoroutsidetheprojectteam Contributetocostestimatesinsmalltolargesizedprojectsincollaborationwithallotherdisciplines Ensurethatthedeliverablesprovidedtotheprojectaretechnicallyaccurate,withinspecifications,scope,budgetandschedule,suitablefortheintendedpurposeandincompliancewithqualityproceduresandprojectplans Lead and performdesignworkandensurethedraftingofthepipelinealignmentsheets,detailedcrossingsplans,andrelatedpipelinefacilitiesisaccurate Lead and oversee creation of materialrequisitionsandreviewquotationsforcompliancewithtechnicalspecifications Interfacewithotherdepartments,projectmanagers,engineers,clientsandvendorsduringallphasesofprojectstoensureagoodworkinginterfaceandaccurateexchangeoftechnicaldata; Lead collaboration within projectteamstodetermineandachieveprojectobjective; and Participate and leadregularprojectmeetings Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
