About This Team This role is on Point-of-Sale team in the lululemon technology organization. The team is responsible for creating APIs and backend integration following microservices architecture principles on an AWS cloud infrastructure stack. This solution architect position is a highly technical role with accountability for architecture scoped to business-transformative projects and is involved with projects from inception through implementation. Core Responsibilities Take part in Agile ceremonies Perform engineering assignments using existing procedures and best practices Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts Actively monitor key metrics and report on trends Participate in our Engineering Community of Practice Contribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systems Perform reliability monitoring and support as needed to ensure products meet guest expectations Qualifications Completed Bachelors degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible Two to four+ years of engineering experience Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space Experience in developing applications using Java, adhering to best practices in objectoriented design and performance optimization Design and integrate Web Services for seamless data exchange and interoperability between distributed systems Leverage AWS cloud services to build secure, highavailability, and costefficient infrastructure Experience in configuring Xstore POS solutions and Payment integrations to enhance retail operations and customer experience Orchestrate automated builds, tests, and deployments with CI/CD Tools, reducing delivery time and improving release quality Manage collaborative source control and DevOps workflows in GitLab, optimizing code reviews, pipelines, and release management Must Haves Acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your life. Compensation And Benefits Package lululemons compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $105,800-$138,800 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
