With a presence in 90 countries and a team of nearly 13,000 experts, we provide 24/7 support to help organisations fulfil their Duty of Care responsibilities.Now, were looking for talented individuals to join our team and make a difference.Overall Purpose of JobWorking with and on behalf of the client, develop and monitor Occupational Health Programs to enhance the effectiveness and health of the employees of the client and to help reduce the Frequency of Lost Time Injury.Key ResponsibilitiesPolicies and ProceduresDevelop a professional Occupational Health Policy for the clientMaintain / Update local OH requirements as necessary to the clientStaff HealthDevelop programs for staff aimed to prevent work related injuriesDevelop Health Promotion Programs for staffAdminister medications, immunizations etc as required by the clientWork Related InjuryProvide Occupational Health Monitor return to work for employees as necessaryProvide Occupational Health and Injury Management advice, support and direction to enable successful resolution of health related issues where possibleMaintain confidential records of all staff injury managementCo-ordinate and liaise with external Specialists as necessaryLiaise with all parties involved in the injury management of employees; this can include Return to Work Coordinators, Safety and employees with a health concernTrack health concern rehabilitation of injured employees until discharge (i.e. there is no longer a health concern).Health MonitoringPerform health monitoring as agreed by the clientAssist the client to comply with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements in order to minimize the clients risk exposure and liabilitiesReportingTo provide regular reports to (client) management as agreed with the clientEnsure the delivery of reporting procedures for Health Surveillance Programs to the clientManagementTo maintain all paperwork associated with the role in an orderly manner;Participate in scheduled meetings as required or requested;Ensure effective communication with internal and external customers and stakeholders to ensure the services are timely, tailored, effectively utilized and better than competing providers;About YouMust-haves (minimum requirements):Work experience as an Occupational Health NurseACLSExceptional collaboration with other groups and the ability to work under pressureCurrent registration with CARNAAudiometry & SpirometryA valid drivers license and a clean driving recordAlignment with our values of expertise,passion,respect and carePreference ForExperience in an industrial settingA high level of knowledge and the ability to interpret relevant medical and operational guidelines, protocols, policies and proceduresKnowledge of Microsoft Office suiteCollaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most valueHold others accountable, and expect others to do the sameWhere youll be working, your work schedule, and other important information:You will work out of our camp-based client sites.
