From 26 offices in 15 countries, with projects in over 80 locations worldwide, we create sustainable outcomes for our people, clients and communities.Our team in Canada is growing, we are currently recruiting for an Intermediate Process Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the Vancouver office.About the RoleProvide expertise through engineering phases from conceptual design, front-end engineering and detailed design.Interpret metallurgical test work resultsLead a small process engineering project teamLead or prepare Process Design CriteriaLead or prepare process calculations, process flow diagramss, mass and water balances, P&IDs and control philosophies.Size process equipment and develop specificationsContribute to the delivery of multidiscipline engineering design by liaising with other engineering disciplines, across the organization and with clients, during the preparation of engineering deliverables.Stay abreast of latest process technology developmentsBudget and resource forecast management for process project scopesContribute innovation and lean thinking into process designsAbout youBachelors degree in Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalentP.Eng. or eligible to be licensed in the Province of BC5-10 years experience in mineral concentrator and/or hydrometallurgical plant design in study or project delivery (scoping, pre-feasibility, feasibility, trade-offs, basic and detail engineering)Gold, silver, copper, base metals and battery metals (nickel, lithium, cobalt) processing preferredProven field experience (construction, commissioning and/or operations) a benefit.Experience with metallurgical simulation software such as MetSim, JKSimMet and/or Bruno a benefitDemonstrated leadership skillsGood communication skills with well-developed written and oral skillsDemonstrated ability to communicate and coordinate technical issues with clientsProven ability to work as part of a team.Why Ausenco?We support individual growth and aim to allow you to work in a way that plays to your strengths.
