Journeyman Mechanic/Automotive Service Technician Location: Calgary, AB We are looking to add another Journeyman Mechanic/Technician to our team to help with our growing work load. Journeyman only, wages based on experience. We are looking for someone who is comfortable diagnosing, repairing and inspecting all makes and models with quality in mind. We pride ourselves on our high quality work and we are looking for someone with the same high standards. Looking for someone experienced in engine and transmission R&R and repair as we do a lot of large jobs. We believe in having a fun and friendly work environment and are looking for someone with that in mind. Must be okay with dogs as there are three dogs here everyday. We work on everything from classics to sports cars and fleet trucks doing everything from oil changes to custom engine builds. We have a preference for 4X4s, lift kits and suspension work, as well as engine repairs/upgrades and tuning. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair vehicles of all makes and models, including suspension, brakes, electrical, engine and transmission repairs. Inspect fleet vehicles to ensure mechanical problems are detected and repaired to meet CVIP standards. Perform routine maintenance on all makes and models of vehicles. Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor. Experience: Experience in Automotive required, heavy duty not accepted. Experience in welding and fabrication a plus but not required.
