In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and optimizing our organization''s network infrastructure and computer systems, ensuring seamless operations and top-notch technical support for our employees. Key Responsibilities: Network Management: Design, implement, and maintain complex network configurations, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. Monitor network performance, identify and resolve network issues, and optimize network resources. Manage and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs. Ensure network scalability and reliability to support business growth. Computer Systems Support: Provide high-level technical support for end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems, operating systems, and software applications. Perform regular system updates, patches, and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network and computer systems. Data Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to protect critical data and ensure business continuity. Execute backup and recovery procedures, and regularly test data recovery processes. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies, practices, and procedures to safeguard data and systems. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and ensure adherence. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, system changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Generate regular reports on network performance, security, and system health. Vendor Management: Collaborate with technology vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software, and services. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance network and system capabilities. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Train and mentor junior IT staff on network and computer support best practices. Conduct workshops or seminars for end-users to enhance their technical skills. Qualifications: Vehicle with valid driver''s license Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 5+ years of experience in network and computer support, with a focus on advanced troubleshooting and network management. Proficiency in network protocols, security standards, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VPN, firewall management). Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and hardware components. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
