We are looking for a Casual Preschool Cook (Culinarian) who would be responsible for the planning, preparation and provision of nutritious snacks and noon meals according to the nutritional needs of the children including special diets and restrictions. This position is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality food production and portion control using standard recipes and also for appropriate quantities of food needed to meet menu requirements. This position is on an on-call, as needed basis. H.S. Our program is open Monday-Friday with hours between 7:30am and 5:30pm. What we need from you: Secondary school diploma (grade 12) is required Certificate in Food Handling Practices is required Experience in preparing meals for small groups of children is an asset Possess good communication, collaboration and independent skills Ability to organize kitchen including purchase of groceries Ability to lift and move groceries and equipment as required Current CPR/First Aid Certification is required Proof of immunization records as per Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required.
