Site Coordinator, Fort McMurray Temp to Perm in 3 months What This Job Involves A Site Coordinator for our oil and gas client in Fort McMurray, where you will act as the primary steward of their facility. In this dynamic, hands-on role, you will own the day-to-day operational excellence of the site - from orchestrating move management and vendor coordination to driving long-term strategy through data-driven space planning and utilization reporting. Your goal is to ensure the workplace runs efficiently today while helping to manage the data that optimizes it for tomorrow. Mandatory Requirements On-Site Presence: This is a full-time, 5 days/week on-site position. Condition of Employment: Our client requires all site personnel to undergo drug testing (including pre-employment, reasonable cause, random, and post-incident) to gain and maintain site access. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like Space Planning Manage and maintain accurate seating assignments and occupancy data using CAFM/IWMS systems. Analyze space supply and demand against business projections to assist with forecasting future needs. Gather space requirements and adjacency needs from department leaders to support ongoing planning efforts. Track and report on space utilization data and trends, conducting periodic audits to ensure data integrity. Move Management Manage the end-to-end process for all employee and furniture relocations, from developing project schedules and budgets to on-site execution. Provide hands-on, on-site supervision during move execution, directing vendor crews and resolving logistical issues in real-time to ensure success. Conduct pre-move walkthroughs and post-move punch list resolution to guarantee quality standards and client satisfaction. Create and distribute all move communications, including clear instructions, labeling systems, and status reports to stakeholders. Coordinate all move-related vendors, including movers, IT technicians, and furniture installers. Site & Operations Management Act as a client liaison for facility-related matters, responding promptly to requests and ensuring successful building operations. Proactively monitor the facility to ensure it remains safe, secure, well-maintained, and operationally ready. Manage a portfolio of small facility projects, such as furniture reconfigurations and space enhancements, from work order intake to completion. What You Bring to the Table Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in move management, occupancy planning, facility management, project management, or a related corporate real estate function. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with CAD/CAFM systems. You must be comfortable reading and interpreting architectural floor plans. Practical Knowledge: A strong working knowledge of facility operations, move coordination logistics, and space management principles. Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills to track data, manage forecasts, and report on space utilization. You are attentive to detail and accuracy, especially with numbers and logistics. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven talent for fostering critical relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Independence: The ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and drive projects to completion in a dynamic environment. A Bachelor''s Degree is preferred.
