Location: Grande Prairie, AB/surrounding region Temporary/Permanent: Permanent Hours of Work: 35 hours/week Salary: $55,000-57,000 / year Application Deadline: January 28, 2026 EmployAbilities is looking for an Employer Liaison (EL), supporting the EmployAbilities Grande Prairie program, working hybrid out of our Grande Prairie office ave Grande Prairie AB) and in Grande Prairie/surrounding communities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with employers across Grande Prairie and surrounding communities. This position provides individualized business supports across the Grande Prairie region, and takes an active role in coordination of events that will advance diverse hiring and promote awareness of the supportive business services available. The EL also gathers and shares labour market information, supports job retention efforts, and contributes to marketing and outreach initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses & stakeholders across Grande Prairie and surrounding communities. Liaise with employers to identify potential opportunities for information interviews, mock interviews, and employment opportunities. Research and develop employer and industry relationships to build understanding of local labour market conditions including available positions, required qualifications and advancement opportunities. Create, promote and deliver a variety of workplace training to employer partner staff (e.g., customer service, communication, conflict management) as needed. Research grants and programs available to employers, be very knowledgeable about current initiatives as well as assisting employers with paperwork or applications. Represent the Agency and promote available services and programs to employers and the community through networking, presentations, conferences, attendance at job fairs, and other business events. Take the lead in organizing job fairs, employer connections, educational events. Develop excellent relationships to collaborate with relevant organizations, government agencies, and industry associations to expand business support network. Create and distribute promotional materials including posters, job postings, a monthly virtual newsletter, and social media content. Summary of Qualifications: Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred Minimum two years'' experience in employer engagement or HR Management Previous experience working with persons with disability or barriers to employment or other at-risk populations A valid class 5 driver''s license and access to a vehicle Clear criminal record check including vulnerable sector check Soft Skills: Compassionate and inclusive person-centered approach Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated ability to be adaptable with strong organizational skills Ability to problem solve Proficiency in fostering positive professional relationships with employers, colleagues, and external partners How to Apply: Please submit your resume and cover letter to Brittany Oracheski (Program Supervisor): In the subject line, indicate ''Employer Liaison- Grande Prairie'' Only individuals selected for interviews will be contacted.
