Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting disciplines, including residential, commercial, restoration, and industrial painting. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes on diverse projects. The Painter will work closely with project managers and clients to deliver exceptional results while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using hand tools and power tools with precision Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project requirements Utilize rigging skills for scaffolding or elevated work as needed for high or hard-to-reach areas Perform restoration work on damaged surfaces or structures to restore them to their original condition Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during the painting process Manage time effectively to complete projects within designated deadlines Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met Maintain a clean work environment and properly dispose of waste materials in accordance with safety regulations Requirements Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, commercial painting, restoration, or industrial painting Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and rigging equipment Strong knowledge of carpentry basics relevant to surface preparation and finishing touches Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation Good time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently Ability to work safely at heights using scaffolding or ladders when necessary Knowledge of schematics and technical drawings is a plus Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Construction experience or background is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates Join our team as a Painter to contribute your expertise in delivering high-quality finishes across diverse projects.
