We are seeking reliable, compassionate Support Workers to join a small, consistent care team supporting Benjamin, a neurodiverse youth with complex needs, in a structured home-based environment. This role is ideal for someone who values relationship-based care, consistency, and a calm, respectful approach. The focus is on supporting regulation, daily routines, safety, and independence, not behaviour control. Position Details Shifts available: Two evenings per week Weekend coverage (rotating) Overnight shifts (sleep or awake, depending on need) Location: Private residence / supported living environment Hours: Part-time, with opportunity for additional shifts Key Responsibilities Provide calm, respectful one-to-one support Assist with evening routines, meals, and transitions Support emotional regulation using trauma-informed strategies Overnight supervision and availability as required Maintain a safe, predictable environment Communicate clearly with family and care team Follow established support plans and boundaries Ideal Candidate Experience with neurodiversity, FASD, trauma-informed care, or youth support (preferred but not required) Patient, grounded, and emotionally regulated Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and/or overnights Reliable, consistent, and professional Able to build trust while maintaining clear boundaries First Aid/CPR (or willing to obtain) Clear background check required What We Offer Supportive, family-led environment Clear expectations and structured routines Consistent scheduling (no rotating chaos) Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to be part of a stable, respectful care team If you are someone who believes in connection before correction, values dignity, and can bring calm to complex moments, we''d love to hear from you.
