Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer to join our innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing detailed mechanical designs, creating schematics, and supporting manufacturing processes. The Mechanical Designer will utilize advanced CAD tools and engineering principles to deliver precise and functional mechanical solutions aligned with project specifications. Duties Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability Create and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and system diagrams for various projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical components with electrical and control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and LabVIEW applications Support manufacturing processes by providing technical guidance on CNC machining, system design, and assembly procedures Utilize MATLAB for simulation, analysis, and validation of mechanical systems Assist in drafting technical documentation, including specifications, assembly instructions, and testing protocols Conduct mechanical analysis and testing to verify design performance and compliance with industry standards Participate in troubleshooting and refining prototypes, ensuring optimal functionality of mechanical systems Requirements Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo for 3D modeling and drafting Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, system design, and manufacturing processes Experience with schematics development and technical documentation Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machining, and LabVIEW programming environment is highly desirable Knowledge of MATLAB for analysis and simulation purposes Mechanical knowledge combined with practical experience in drafting, system integration, and manufacturing support is preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $86,000.00 per year Benefits: Company events Discounted or free food Extended health care Relocation assistance Work Location: In person
