About This Opportunity The Senior Facilities Specialist is responsible for overseeing facilities operations across CBI Health''s national rehabilitation clinic portfolio. This role manages the facilities ticketing system, coordinates site-level maintenance and capital requests, and ensures work is executed efficiently with minimal disruption to clinical operations. Acting as a central point of contact, the Specialist supports intake, triage, prioritization, tracking, and resolution of work orders, while partnering with Procurement, Finance, Operations, IT, and Health & Safety to optimize vendor performance, contract compliance, and budgets. The role drives consistency across regions by standardizing vendors, improving service reliability, and enhancing cost efficiency, while contributing to facilities planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Salary range: $73,100-$103,600 Take an inside look at what you''ll be do each day Manage facilities and maintenance requests through CBI''s ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution aligned with clinic operations and patient care Provide oversight of facilities capital requests, ensuring prioritization, cost control, and governance compliance Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and life safety Act as primary liaison between clinics, landlords, trades, and vendors to coordinate repairs, maintenance, and landlord-responsible work Validate contractor compliance documentation, including WSIB, insurance, and safety certifications Maintain accurate records, work order documentation, and produce dashboards and reports for planning, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination Support budget management, including spend tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost-saving initiatives Review and process invoices and purchase orders in partnership with Finance and Procurement Resolve clinic escalations related to facilities, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions Oversee site-level physical security, coordinating access control, cameras, alarms, and other security measures in collaboration with IT and Health & Safety What You Need To Be Successful Post-secondary diploma or bachelor''s degree in Facilities Management, Building Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) 57 years of progressive facilities management experience across multiple sites or a distributed clinic portfolio Experience managing facilities requests and workflows through ticketing or digital work order systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, Freshservice) Proven ability to manage vendors, contractors, landlords, and service providers, including service quality, compliance, and cost control; experience with vendor consolidation and contract oversight preferred Knowledge of building systems, life safety requirements, and regulatory standards in healthcare or regulated environments; experience with site-level physical security initiatives is an asset Strong planning, prioritization, organizational, and stakeholder management skills; able to manage competing priorities and communicate effectively with clinic teams, vendors, and senior leaders Highly independent, accountable, and results-driven Fluency in French is required What CBI Health Offers You Continuous learning and skills development, including management opportunities Competitive compensation with comprehensive benefits and rewards package, including group health, dental and vision benefits, paid 100% by the employer Flexible hours, which allow work-life balance and focus on quality of life About Us For millions of Canadians, CBI Health is where better begins.
