About us The Wellness Institute is a Certified Medical Fitness Facility designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for people of all health and fitness levels to improve their overall wellness. Our 80,000 square foot state-of-the-art complex includes our gym and track facilities and warm water therapy pool, and houses the Wellness Institute Clinic, the focused clinical component of our lifestyle medicine services. The Wellness Institute is attached to Seven Oaks General Hospital. We have a busy massage practice with a large client base including morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shift options. We offer many exciting and innovative programs and services to support active and health lifestyles. Free gym membership is a benefit to our service providers. We are looking for a reliable Massage Therapist to provide massage therapy services to our clients. You will be responsible for client care and customer satisfaction while increasing client satisfaction and revenue. Responsibilities Develop strong relationships with clients, while ensuring that they are provided the best service possible. Ensure that each client receives exceptional service by greeting them with a warm, friendly attitude and showing them to their desired treatment area. Ensure that the entire experience is handled from initial contact through to the end of the session. Ensure that each client leaves with a sense of comfort, relief, and well-being. Keep accurate records of each session in order to ensure consistent revenue and client satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of the treatment area, equipment, and practice. Adhere to all health and safety standards. Contribute to a positive, healthy environment in which to work. Skills Proven work experience as a Massage Therapist or similar role (1-2 years is preferred) Proficiency in various techniques (e.g., Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, etc.) and or ability to learn new techniques quickly. In-depth understanding of health and safety guidelines A great attitude with customers and fellow employees Customer satisfaction-oriented mindset Applicants must have completed a minimum 2200-hour course from an accredited school of massage therapy and be a member of the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba.
