Job Description

Foremost Universal has an immediate opening for a Yard/Dresser Worker located at our north facility in Lloydminster, AB Responsibilities Dress grain bins, ULCs, tanks, pressure vessels, and similar products as required. Perform minor pipe-fitting tasks as required. Follow all workplace safety policies, standards, procedures, and applicable regulations. Stock parts and pick parts for jobs as required. Support inventory control through accurate documentation and reporting of discrepancies. Operate overhead cranes and other material-handling equipment safely. Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, and lifting devices. Perform other related duties as assigned to support shop and yard operations. Assist workers with general shop tasks and material handling. Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Notify management of deficiencies, damage, or items requiring repair. Perform basic routine maintenance on tools and equipment as required. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area. Perform shop clean-up and general housekeeping. Collect and remove trash and recyclable materials. Clean and stock restrooms. Perform yard-related housekeeping tasks as required (e.g., mowing, trimming/whipper snipping, yard clean-up). Qualifications Strong work ethic and positive team attitude. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. Physically able to perform duties that may include repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, walking, bending, and other manual tasks. Safety training is an asset; training will be provided as required. Previous experience in manufacturing and material handling is an asset. Experience operating overhead cranes or willingness to be trained. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and safe handling of cleaning products. Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. Valid driver''s license with a clean abstract is preferred. Experience with fall protection and elevated platforms is an asset (training can be provided). Comfortable working at heights and with lifting devices (overhead crane, man lift, etc.). Work Environment Work is performed in shop, yard, and/or office environments, depending on the position. Exposure may include noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils, and varying temperatures. Some tasks may require working at heights or outdoors in changing weather conditions.
