Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our Long-Term Care team. The RPN will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with professional standards, legislative requirements, and the mission and values of our home. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with policy and regulatory standards Monitor residents'' physical, emotional, and cognitive conditions and report changes promptly Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and update individualized care plans Supervise and provide guidance to Personal Support Workers (PSWs) Maintain accurate and timely documentation in residents'' health records Respond to medical emergencies and participate in infection prevention and control practices Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers Ensure compliance with Long-Term Care Homes Act, MOH regulations, and organizational policies Qualifications & Requirements Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) Practical Nursing Diploma from an accredited program Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Current CPR certification Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $32.00-$36.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week Application question(s): Do you have valid Vulnerable sector check within 6 months?
