Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and assembly, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that components are accurately assembled and meet quality standards. Your expertise in using various tools and machinery will contribute to the successful completion of projects within deadlines. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements. Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using power tools, welding equipment, and other machinery. Operate press brake machines and cranes safely to assist in the fitting process. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions during the fitting process. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fittings and assemblies. Requirements Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics is essential. Familiarity with machining processes, power tools, welding techniques, rigging, and fabrication methods. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform precise measurements. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to safety practices in the workplace.
