We are looking for a full-time Property Management Assistant (PMA) with experience in managing large commercial properties, tendering R&M quotations, coordinating vendors and trades, managing tenants and overseeing capital projects.A Property Manager Assistant is a hybrid of roles and functions. This position requires an individual to be adaptive, meticulous, and team orientated in its ability to perform well. You will be assigned to and mentored by one of our senior property managers. You will find this position to be rewarding from both a personal and professional viewpoint due to the exceptional staff and working environment that we have developed.The Responsibilities:-Directly assisting a senior property manager with a portfolio of large commercial properties across the Lower Mainland-Tendering and organizing quotes for repairs and maintenance-Plan for capital cost repairs and replacements-Be the liaison between tenants, landlords, management and contractors-Work directly with our site superintendent, building operators, and contractors to schedule and complete service calls -Manage Angus Systems; generating working orders and inspections, update tenant requests-Provide ad-hoc duties requested from our Tenant Services Coordinator-Prepare and send emails, notices and letters to tenants, landlords and vendors as required-Conduct on-site visits as needed-Filter, organize and code property invoices -Coordinate keys and access cards for tenants and contractors-Update owner and tenant data basis-Internally process move in and move out inspections for new and exiting tenantsWhat You Will Need:-Minimum Five (5) years experience in managing commercial properties-Real Estate Council of B.C. Rental License (optional)-Strong in communication (written and verbal) and response time an asset-Familiarity with commercial triple net and gross leases-Strong time management, organizational and leadership skills-Excellent project coordination and scheduling experience-Intermediate level Microsoft Office, Word and Excel-Experience with Yardi Breeze Systems-Motivated in continued education in the property management industryWhat We Offer:-Full extended health care benefits package available-Company sponsored continued education and courses-Dynamic and comprehensive support staff-Best in class work culture and environment-Hybrid working opportunities-Competitive salary
