Position Summary Acuren is currently recruiting an Administrative Assistant to support the Cenovus Upgrader Laboratory in Lloydminster, SK. This role provides essential administrative, coordination, and systems support in a fast-paced industrial laboratory environment. The successful candidate will support documentation, communication, SAP processes, and day-to-day office operations while ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance with site standards. Position Details Location: Cenovus Upgrader Lloydminster, SK (must be local) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12-month contract Shift: MondayFriday, 6 hours per day Rate: $25.00/hour Work Environment: On-site Responsibilities Administrative & Office Support Perform general administrative duties including word processing, data entry, reporting, scheduling, ordering supplies and PPE, assembling presentations, and organizing meetings Support onboarding activities, training coordination, and general office operations Communication & Coordination Act as a key communication point within the laboratory Prepare and distribute communications via Outlook calendar invites, email, bulletin boards, and SharePoint Support department events and internal communications Systems & Documentation Maintain and organize department information in accordance with IM standards (SharePoint, SAP, HDMS, PPH, network drives, LIMS) Manage controlled documents including forms, procedures, and templates Coordinate document reviews, approvals, and publishing SAP / Asset Support Support Asset and Reliability Plans in SAP, including creating work notifications, closing work orders, and maintaining material masters Health, Safety & Environment Comply with all HS&E requirements in the performance of job duties Requirements Requirements Minimum 2 years of site experience in a related industry Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, primarily Outlook and Excel Experience with client information systems, including payroll, time, and attendance Experience with travel and/or camp bookings Working knowledge of additional client computer systems is considered an asset Business or Office Administration Certificate, Diploma, or Degree is an asset Core Competencies Strong data entry and accuracy skills Effective time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Benefits The strength of Acuren lies in its outstanding people.
