About the Opportunity This Mechanical Operations Supervisor position requires over 6 years of mechanical experience and at least 2+ years of leadership experience transitioning from the tools side to the office side. You will support the Owner in delegating work, coordinating schedules, and planning daytoday operations for TI projects, new build construction, and servicing jobs. Candidates must be based in Vancouver, New Westminster, Surrey, Langley, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Delta, Richmond, North Vancouver, or Maple Ridge. About the Position In this role, you will support daytoday field operations ensuring safety, schedule, and quality expectations are met. You will work closely with the Owner as their right hand and perform a variety of responsibilities. Benefits & Perks Competitive Salary: $100,000 - $160,000 Extended Benefits Responsibilities Manage, train and work alongside a medium to a large crew of lead hands, journeypersons, and apprentices Plan and schedule tasks for site Red Seal Plumbers and apprentices Work with Project Managers and Mechanical Superintendent to enforce the projectspecific health and safety policy and QAQC program Order materials and equipment to suit the site installation in advance of installation Direct and monitor subtrade work to ensure the installation aligns with project documents Monitor and report onsite installation to ensure activities align with the project schedule, adjusting the team and/or tasks as required Translate drawings/specifications into a usable format for the Lead hand/RSPs Perform other duties as required Qualifications Minimum of 6 years in the mechanical construction industry Formal training in construction management is an asset Red Seal Plumbing Certification is required Gas Ticket is an asset Previous experience as a Lead Hand or Foreman is required Seniority Level Not applicable Employment Type Fulltime Job Function Specialty Trade Contractor We believe diverse teams build stronger companies, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
