We are currently looking for passionate and experienced educators to join our team as Online Secondary School Teachers/Tutors. If you have a strong background in online instruction and a commitment to student success, we would love to hear from you! Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic high school educators to provide virtual instruction and academic support in one or more of the following subjects: Math Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) Business Computer Science Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging online lessons aligned with curriculum expectations. Educate and support students in mastering subjectspecific concepts and skills. Foster a respectful, inclusive, and encouraging virtual classroom environment. Monitor student progress, assign work, and provide constructive feedback. Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding student performance. Collaborate with team members to enhance teaching strategies and student outcomes. Participate in professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in online education. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field required. Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) designation preferred but not mandatory. Experience teaching high school students in an online setting. Proficiency in Moodle LMS (mandatory). Experience using Zoom for instruction and classroom management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A reliable internet connection and a professional home teaching setup. Excellent online tutoring and classroom management skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles. Passionate about education and committed to student success. Patient, empathetic, and able to motivate and inspire students.
