Our Control Systems Engineering team and Web-Based Tool Development team is seeking fresh insight on a complete redesign of our current web-based toolset. These tools are utilized across our turbofan, turbojet, turboshaft, and APU lines of engines for managing the development of the control system and control system software. Key Responsibilities Develop new features and content for our software build management / requirement management web application. Develop new graphical user interfaces (GUI) for enhancing the user experience. We are looking for a motivated professional who can work independently, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and has a solid understanding of both the discipline and the role. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like Collaborate with our engineering team and tool development team to design and develop new software solutions Work independently to bring your part of the project to completion Prepare clear documentation of your code and help files Gain exposure to the DO-178C software development process What do you need to be successful? Be eligible to work in Canada Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired Pursuing a bachelor''s or master''s degree in: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other Engineering discipline with strong programing skills Demonstrated work experience in SQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, D3/JQuery, JavaScript, Git, XML, JSON, API Understanding of relational databases Familiarity with creating user-friendly and easy-to-navigate web pages Ability to create user guides and help files Ability to effectively communicate, and work with team members Self-directed, willingness to learn and adapt Excellent communication skills in English (spoken/written) Assets Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, and print. Experiences in LaTeX, Python, Visual Basic, C++, Symfony PHP framework. The salary range for this role is 23.10 to 33.30 CAD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
