If so, the Case Manager role at WSIB could be your next career movewhere your potential meets purpose.What Youll DoMake informed decisions based on legislation, policy, and best practices, and communicate these decisions clearly to workers, employers, and healthcare providersGather and analyze information from multiple sources to assess eligibility and progress cases efficientlyAdapt to new information and changing circumstances, adjusting plans as needed to ensure successful recovery and return-to-work outcomesCollaborate with internal teams and external partners, participating in case conferences, sharing best practices, and providing mentorship where neededExecute case management plans by coordinating actions, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely follow-through on all activitiesFacilitate open communication between workplace parties, supporting a safe and sustainable return to workIdentify and address barriers to recovery and return-to-work, leveraging resources and expertise as requiredResolve disputes proactively and handle requests for reconsideration or appeal in a fair and transparent mannerWho You AreSound decision-making skills and the ability to weigh complex informationExceptional communication (verbal and written) with empathy and clarityAdaptability to evolving situations and client needsStrong teamwork and collaboration within multidisciplinary teamsDemonstrated ability to follow through and deliver resultsWhat You Will BringEducationUniversity completion at undergraduate level.ExperienceTwo years prior experience in Adjudication or Case Management and Customer Service.Adjudication is a process of decision making, gathering and weighing information against guidelines, policy and laws to arrive at an objective outcome.Case management is a process of assessment, planning, facilitation, and advocacy for options and services to meet an individual's needs to promote optimal outcomes. Key activities include: collecting information, making decisions, coordination and actioning activities; reviewing, monitoring, guiding and directing cases towards resolution.This position is currently eligible for an education equivalency.Additional years of experience will be considered in place of levels of education on a 2:1 basis. For every level of education not completed, an additional 2 years of experience will be considered as equivalent, in addition to the minimum prior years of experience as set out in the job requirements.
