We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Project Coordinator to oversee customer demonstrations, inventory management, and on-site processing activities. This role requires a strong understanding of complex project coordination, supply chain operations, international distribution, and logistics planning to ensure seamless delivery of the world's first industrial-strength bioluminescence, going to commercial fisheries in Australia, oil and gas companies in Europe, and defence initiatives in North America. The ideal candidate will possess excellent data analysis skills, process improvement expertise, and the ability to coordinate crossfunctional teams effectively. Responsibilities Coordinate customer demonstrations and orders, ensuring all materials are prepared and shipped in a timely fashion Coordinate and be available to customers, tracking every step of the shipping process, arrival, and follow up for ongoing orders and demonstrations Coordinate with ongoing projects, such as grant providers, accelerator programs, and federal organizations to ensure quality ongoing project coordination, bridging R&D, manufacturing, and excellent project delivery Develop inventory control, including stock levels, replenishment, and warehouse organization Oversee onsite processing activities related to shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling Perform root cause analysis to resolve operational issues impacting inventory accuracy or process efficiency Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and improve category management strategies Support demand planning and production scheduling through data analytics and supply chain forecasting techniques Lead process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain management Support with onsite operations such as overseeing shipping, handling, receiving, and daytoday duties, with support from Lux Bio team. Qualifications Proven experience in supply chain management, distribution, or logistics roles with a focus on coordination, physical product supply chain and materials management Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and contract management Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is an asset Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers Physical ability for materials handling tasks when necessary Relevant certifications in biochemistry/microbiology, bioprocessing, business management, supply chain or logistics are a plus About Lux Bio Lux Bio is a Canadian biotech company creating safe, bright, instant light with bioluminescence.
