Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Task Manager with a background as a Geologist, Environmental Scientist, or Environmental Engineer to join our team in Alberta. This is a full-time position for a dynamic individual looking for career growth in environmental consulting. In this role, you will work alongside project managers and assist with environmental investigation, remediation, and permitting projects. You will lead the daytoday activities of juniorlevel staff; interface with local clients, schedule and coordinate task resources and solicit guidance from seniorlevel technical staff and project managers (PMs) and participate in field activities as needed. Role accountabilities Assist PMs with planning environmental assessment and remediation tasks. Participate in and lead tasks to evaluate data to support conceptual site models for environmental investigations, delineate the nature and extent of contamination, and implement remediation and monitoring programs. Strong writing skills are required as this role is responsible for technical report reviewing and writing. Train, coach, and mentor staff on consulting best practices and motivate staff to achieve businessgrowth goals. Be a visible steward of Health & Safety by completing required stewardship goals and being a strong mentor and example for H&S. Daily project financial monitoring and reporting of budget status to the PM. Cost estimating: prepare cost estimates to support establishing project budgets and evaluating subcontractor proposals. Prepare subcontracts and assist with coordinating all aspects of subcontractor tasks including schedule, compliance, logistics, health, and safety. This position may require approximately 40% fieldbased tasks. You may visit project sites for drilling activities and sample collection, client meetings, planning purposes, safety audits, or to oversee project implementation, depending on project staffing needs. Qualifications & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related discipline. 4+ years of relevant experience. Preferred: Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related discipline with a professional license (P.Ag., P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Bio. or P.Chem.). Salary The salary range for this position is $66,00099,000. The base salary represents Arcadis hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
