Summer 2026 Work Term Term Length: 4 months Term Start: May 4, 2026 Term End: August 21, 2026 The pay range for the coop student role will reflect factors such as the candidates experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role. Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit). Role: Visual Merchandising Intern Role Mandate: To support the PreSeason & InSeason Visual Merchandising teams in building preseason documents for quarterly crossfunctional working sessions & assist with the inseason output visual merchandising communications ensuring all due dates are met and documents have been reviewed and approved prior to release. Key Accountabilities: Support visual team during crossfunctional working sessions Ensure colour flow is relevant to an overall colour story or theme; fixture adjacencies and zone placement taken into consideration Strike zone fixtures feature product that reflect a great value message Find opportunities where marketing can be used to enhance visual presentation Work with category managers to determine a reduced assortment to fit various floor plans and store models Support visual team in building monthly visual merchandising directives Follow preseason visual merchandising plans to build inseason directives in Mock Shop for all store models and layouts by category Ensure all key items, seasonal strategies, and looks are represented in each model; ensure overall clarity of offer is aligned to the main model Ensure product fits properly on fixtures; ensure folded styles are in fabrications that are compelling as folded programmes Ensure marketing materials being produced can be properly utilized on fixtures and represented in a compelling way that adheres to merchandising standards Ensure marketing standards are adhered to in all monthly directives and communications; proper hardware is shown, price points and cappers are properly used Ensure store floor plans and layouts of departments are up to date and representative of monthly/quarterly initiatives Responsible for the organization and keeping of all digital files; including archiving Mock Shop stores from month to month Responsible for building/setting up all necessary Mock Shop stores pertaining to inseason visual merchandising directives Responsible for exemplifying best practices when it comes to technology; this also applies to graphics/visual standards/layouts How Youll Succeed: At Joe Fresh, we seek great people to continually strengthen our culture.
