We are looking to hire anEngineer in Training/Engineering Graduatefor one of our mine sites inTimmins, Ontarioona full-time basis. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8 hrs/day or 4 on, 3 off, 10hrs/day.Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position.Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Engineer in Training/Engineering Graduate, you will follow a rotation through various engineering functions (on surface and underground) that may include:SurveyingVentilationGround controlLonghole planningDevelopment designScheduling and day-to-day trackingShort-term planningThe role may include time embedded with various underground production crews in order to understand mine production roles first hand.More About YouThe following will be critical to successfully performing this role:Bachelors Degree in Mining Engineering from an accredited UniversitySeeking P.Eng. license with PEO when eligibleComprehensive knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and techniques as they apply to ore body evaluation and underground mine operationsProficiency in mine planning software (Desik.CAD and Deswik.Sched)The applicant must be eligible to work in CanadaAs our ideal candidate, you are a highly resourceful team player with excellent communication, attention to detail, and time management skills.
