The Human Resources Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with organizational and legislative standards. The role contributes to employee lifecycle coordination, training logistics, employee facing benefits support, corporate services support, and employee engagement initiatives. Main duties include but are not limited to: Provide administrative and clerical support to the Corporate Services department, with a primary focus on assisting the Manager of Human Resources. This includes scheduling meetings, processing expenses, maintaining filing systems, assisting with recruitments, managing employee files, and assisting with various departmental tasks and projects. Respond to inquiries from employees and external organizations, referring complex matters to the Manager of Human Resources or Director of Corporate Services, as appropriate. Maintain divisional records, documents, and files (e.g., policies, organizational charts, job descriptions, job evaluation data, procedures, and resource materials) in accordance with the SDG Counties'' records management policy and legislative requirements. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of human resources programs, policies, procedures, and initiatives across a wide range of topics. Support the consistent and appropriate application of human resources policies and procedures to ensure organizational alignment and compliance with legislative standards. Contribute to the review and updating of human resources procedures, and forms. Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees as directed by the Manager of Human Resources. Maintain accurate employee data, including personal information, compensation, and performance appraisals, ensuring compliance with all legislative and organizational requirements. Assist with the employee facing benefits support, including health and dental benefits and leave of absence. Coordinate logistics for training sessions and support the delivery of learning and development programs. Track training attendance and compliance, ensuring accurate reporting and follow-up. Coordinate employee recognition programs and support other engagement initiatives. Coordinate travel arrangements for the Corporate Services department, including booking transportation and accommodations, preparing itineraries, and ensuring compliance with organizational travel policies and budget guidelines. Coordinate departmental office functions, which includes ensuring proper maintenance of office equipment, ordering and management of office supplies. Assist with planning and organizing corporate, departmental, and divisional events. Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by the Director of Corporate Services and Manager of Human Resources. Qualifications: Completed Post Secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent experience. 3 years'' experience, preferably in a public sector or similar setting and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience A valid Ontario Class ''G'' driver''slicence is required for this position. Ability to provide a current satisfactory Criminal Record Check, and adriver''s abstract indicating a clean driving record.
