Our Values Every decision we make is guided by our core values: Trust Building strong relationships through honesty and reliability Integrity Upholding the highest ethical standards Accountability Taking ownership of our actions and commitments Respect Valuing diverse perspectives and treating others fairly Quality Delivering excellence in every project Fun Creating an engaging and enjoyable work environment Senior Electrical Designer / Drafter Primary Responsibilities Develop electrical layout drawings, grounding plans, area classifications, and lighting layouts based on plot plans and surveys Produce single-line diagrams and MV/LV schematics, including VFD schematics, from P&IDs Design contactor panels, lighting panels, and junction box layouts, including associated schematics Develop I/O schematics and control panel designs from P&IDs Create 3D cable tray routing and develop building and equipment layouts Lead and participate in internal and external 3D model review sessions Ensure all designs comply with company procedures, engineering standards, and applicable codes Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams Requirements This is an in-office position based in Calgary Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Controls Technology, or equivalent industry experience Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical, instrumentation, and/or controls design, preferably in an EPCM or consulting environment within the oil and gas industry Proficiency in 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and material take-offs Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams Working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and API RP 500 / 505 High attention to detail and a strong commitment to industry best practices We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
