*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Advanced Medic for job sites. As a Medic, you will play a crucial role in providing medical care and support to patients in an industrial setting. *Duties* Participate in daily Safety meetings Assist in patient care activities such as monitoring vital signs Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patients and proper transport to the next level of care *Skills* Proficiency in patient care techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures Experience in medication administration Familiarity with industrial safety regulations and procedures This job specifically involves being based in a work camp in Elkford, B.C. You must be able to pass a health questionnaire, a physical test w/ 50lb weights, a respirator fit test, and a 13 panel Drug and Alcohol Analysis including THC. The shifts are 10.5 hours with possibilities for mandatory Overtime should the need arise. It is 7 on 7 off. Accommodations and food are provided by camp with a crew bus travelling to and from site. Travel and cell phone is paid in conjunction with wages.
