We are looking for reliable individual to work as Production Associate in our warehouse. The ideal candidate has prior experience in manufacturing, full-time availability and their own transportation. POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Associate responsibilities are: JOB FUNCTIONS Be punctual and on time for shift work (start time, breaks, end time). Proactively contribute to the best practices of production within area. Ensure policies and procedures are being followed. Working with textiles and different plastics. Light Manufacturing and assembly environment When applicable, suggest and implement improvements to workflows, procedures, and efficiencies in your area. Work with your supervisor and team to ensure products are prioritized and completed in a timely manner. Ensure inventory is kept organized and labelled in your area and in cooperation with your supervisor. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES High School Diploma; Must be conscientious of quality control for finished products; Must have a team spirit to accomplish final goals and work cooperatively with others; Attention to detail is essential; Must be flexible to work on various tasks as required; Individual must be safety oriented; Individual must be conscientious and reliable; Able to take and follow instructions; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Effective communication; Prior experience in production and assembly (Preferred); Should be able to use tools (saw/impact/drills); Mechanically adept, with a strong understanding of basic equipment operation and maintenance; Ability to accurately use a tape measure for precise measurements. Bonus points for Shipping experience **Steel-toe boots and other PPE (supplied) will be required WORK HOURS: Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM Friday: 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM Occasional overtime may be required.
