Fabrication Supervisor Afternoons (Low Volume Custom Metal Fabrication) Custom Machinery Manufacturing Metal Fabrication Location: Brampton Mississauga area ON Base Salary: 85K -110K base benefits 5 days a week on Site Full time permanent Afternoon Shift Monday -Friday (3pm -11.30pm) Low volume highly customized metal fabrication shop Canadian Health & Safety Compliance & Governance Afternoon Shift 3pm-11.30pm Our client is a leading manufacturer /fabricator of ''low volume high customisation'' machine parts / equipment for the mining/agriculture and similar industries and have an existing job open for Fabrication Supervisor to oversee the afternoon shift in low volume customized equipment and machine manufacturing and provide leadership to welders, welder fitters, fabricators and other front line associates. This is a hands-on leadership role in the Mississauga- Brampton area for straight afternoons- Monday - Friday. All candidates must have leadership/ supervisory / management experience in supervising low volume custom metal Fabrication (MUST have ). Experienced welders TIG / machinist with leadership experience under the Canadian H&S governance are welcome to apply. Fabrication Supervisor is fully responsible for giving leadership to the front line Machining, Cutting, bending welding within this custom fabrication shop and ensure labor scheduling, work load planning, material planning, material availability is aligned to optimize productivity and throughput. You are responsible for coaching mentoring performance management of the welders-fitters, fabricators, cutters benders and similar, provide training, ensure they follow all Health & Safety requirements and have the right tickets to follow compliance. Fabrication Supervisor will ideally have 3-4 years in a supervisor role in low volume fabrication ( preferred ) with previous experience as TIG / MIG welder / welder fitter/ machinist within the Canadian Health & Safety requirements is highly preferred.
