Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations. Handle food safely during preparation, serving, and packaging to ensure health standards are met. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining environment. Manage cash register transactions accurately while providing excellent service. Support team members during busy periods by multitasking between duties such as food prep, cashiering, and cleaning. Skills Experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and create a welcoming atmosphere. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for upselling opportunities. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively. Experience in culinary roles or kitchen environments is advantageous but not required. Demonstrated ability to work well within a team, support colleagues, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
