Job Description

MyoHealth Rehab and Wellness Centre has an exciting opportunity for an administrative coordinator to join our team of health care providers. We are a multidisciplinary health care clinic providing rehabilitation and recovery services to individuals injured in motor vehicle accidents. Our clinic includes various health and administrative professionals dedicated to supporting clients through physical, emotional, and psychosocial recovery. The coordinator will report to the program leads for our allied health department specifically to the lead for our Occupational Therapy and our Social Work teams (dual-reporting structure). The coordinator will provide high-level administrative support within a healthcare clinic setting. This role supports two program leads and serves as a central point of coordination, communication, and task facilitation. Support to additional departments may be required based on the clinic''s needs. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Key Responsibilities: File assignment to occupational therapy and social work clinicians Clerical update to patient files Confirmation of clinician activity on file follow up to ensure client is paired with a clinician and treatment sessions have been initiated Communication to external/contract staff members regarding approval of client treatment Creation of summary reports for program leads- reviewing clinician benchmark targets and service activity on files Preparation of correspondence, reports, agendas, and meeting minutes Collaboration with various members of the administration team Serve as a liaison between program leads and clinical staff Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; certification in office or business administration 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards Preferred Skills & Attributes Experience with insurance procedures, trauma population and MVA is a strong asset Knowledge of the health care system and community resources is an asset Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Benefits: Dental care Life insurance On-site parking Paid time off Education: DCS / DEC (required) Experience: microsoft office: 1 year (preferred) Administrative: 2 years (required) knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
