Position Description This is great opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Dr. Sonia Chung and Dr. Brandon Linaksita, current SickKids staff dentists who started in the role of SickKids Department of Dentistry summer research students. The summer research studentwill work closely with Dentistry Principal Investigators to advance current and new research projects in the Department of Dentistry. Here''s what you''ll get to do Perform literature searches to support research investigations Prepare, index and scan research records Tabulate and clean data collected in studies Provide support for experimental samples Collaborate and consult with the department Research Coordinator Participate in research discussions with staff and trainees in the department Provide research updates to the Director, Dental Research Here''s what you''ll need Enrolled as a university student in a science or pre-dental program Previous computer experience Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with SharePoint and Power Platform would be an asset. Strong attention to detail. Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to provide excellent customer service and take initiative. Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, organized, and flexible. Ability to work independently and prioritize workload. Positive outlook and great team player.
