And we have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Associate to join our growing team!The opportunity for youThe Quality and Research & Development Departments one part of a company-wide collaborative effort ensuring AGs brand integrity, notably our made-without claims. This role will be responsible for all quality control tasks necessary to ensure that processes related to AG products and their life cycle are operating in compliance with AGs quality management system and applicable regional and international regulations such as GMP, Health Canada, FDA, and EU.Youll be responsible forConduct routine sampling and chemical/analytical/physical analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process product, bulk product, and finished product as requiredAdminister the hold and release for raw materials, packaging materials, and purchased product Prepare documentation as required such as deviation, out of specification, non-conformance, rejection reports, etc.Prepare documentation for review and approval, such as processing reports, analytical reports, and SOPs.Execution of qualifications for any laboratory equipment as required.Revision of specifications for raw materials, packaging materials, bulk product, and finished products as required.Review, collect and organize raw material documentation such as CoAs, SDSs, TDSs, etc.Conduct stability analysis and prepare stability reports.Oversee and organize retention program and retention storage room.Provide admin and technical support to Quality department.Support QC laboratory equipment calibration requirements.Maintain QC laboratory and testing equipment.Other duties as assigned.What you offerBachelor of Science degree or diploma in Chemistry or related field1+ year experience in working in a lab environment, including but not limited to QA/QC and on-line inspection an assetBasic knowledge of GMP compliance in both laboratory and manufacturing functions an assetExcellent organization & communication skills both verbal and writtenSolid problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and ability to understand scientific terminology Proficiency in MS Office including Word and ExcelFlexible and eager to learn a range of skillsPassion and enthusiasm, with a strong commitment to high quality productsWorking at AG...Creating products that make a difference is no easy task, but at AG our people are hard-wired to do just that.
